Dr. Hoda Maleki is an Assistant Professor at the School of Computer and Cyber Sciences at Augusta University. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut. Dr. Maleki's research primarily focuses on applied cryptography, system security, and blockchain security.
She adopts a unique approach by integrating rigorous cryptographic principles with practical system design. This innovative combination has made her significant contributions in various domains, including Edge computing and IoT, V2X security, searchable encryption, and blockchain technology. Her work is known for seamlessly blending theoretical concepts with real-world applications.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Dr. Maleki has secured two competitive research grants from the NSF. She is also a recognized figure in the academic community. She has been an active member of numerous program committees, contributing to international conferences and workshops in computer security and privacy.
